JACKSON HOLE, WYO – The Planet has confirmed Hotel Terra and Teton Mountain Lodge in Teton Village have been sold. Both properties were acquired this week by Noble House Hotels & Resorts, a luxury hotel and management corporation.

Noble House Founder and Chairman of the Board Pat Colee said in a prepared statement, “These two resorts, known for their upscale, rugged luxury, are a perfect complement to our portfolio of true-to-place lifestyle hotels. In addition to being perennially ranked as a No. 1 ski destination, Jackson Hole is a year-round adventure destination and naturally appeals to the Noble House Hotels & Resorts guest.”

Hotel Terra is a 132-room LEED Silver Certified and a AAA Four Diamond hotel located slopeside to the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. The hotel also boasts the award winning Osteria restaurant, the organic Terra Cafe, an infinity pool and a rooftop spa oasis, Chill Spa.

The Teton Mountain Lodge & Spa (145-rooms) is also a AAA Four Diamond hotel that includes Spur Restaurant & Bar, “a local favorite,” Noble House said, “with Executive Chef Kevin Humphreys, named Best Chef in Jackson seven years in a row.”

The Seattle-based Noble House has been in business for 30 years. Their portfolio now totals 16 properties including Riviera Palm Springs (Palm Springs, CA), Ocean Key Resort & Spa (Key West, FL), and Mountain Lodge at Telluride (Telluride, CO).

According to the company’s online materials, Noble House has been pursuing an “ambitious” acquisition strategy since the economic downturn. It is primarily interested in “unique one-of-a-kind, ‘high barrier to entry’ lodging and other hospitality projects.”
