Homicide Ruled Out But Investigation Continues

UPDATE–Monday, January 25:

Jackson, WY – The body of the man found dead on Tensleep Drive has been identified as Aldane Mullings, 30, of Jamaica, according to a press release issued Monday by Teton County Sheriff’s Office. An autopsy performed Sunday indicates Mullings died from hypothermia due to exposure. Law enforcement are no longer treating Mullings’ death as a potential homicide. However, they are still seeking information on his final hours. Specifically, they are looking for a motorist who drove by Mullings at approximately 6: 20 a.m. Saturday.


Saturday, January 23:

Jackson, WY – Police are investigating the death of an unidentified man as suspicious in nature, according to a press release issued today by the Teton County Sheriff’s Office. The man’s body was discovered around 6:30 a.m. Saturday on S. Tensleep Drive in the Rafter J subdivision.

The victim is described as a black male, approximately five feet, nine inches tall and 180 pounds. He was found wearing dark clothing.

Law enforcement officials are seeking information from anyone who may be able to help identify the victim or who may have seen him on the morning of January 23. Call the Teton County Sheriff’s Office at 733-2331.
